Welcome to Vlog Watch — your gateway into the world of vlogging, visionary creators, and the stories behind the camera. I’m Briyan Frederick Baker, the founder, curator, and voice behind Vlog Watch, and this is where I share my passion for vlog culture, creativity, and connection.
Why Vlog Watch Exists
Vlogs tell more than stories — they capture moments, ideas, and the raw energy of someone’s life or vision. Over the years, I’ve found myself drawn not just to watching vlogs, but to understanding why people vlog: what inspires them, how they build their voice, what challenges they overcome, and what keeps them going.
I started Vlog Watch because I believe there’s more to vlogging than just content. There’s art, community, identity, and innovation. I want to shine a light on the creators, the craft, and the conversations that often go unseen — the behind-the-scenes, the experiments, the failures, the breakthroughs.
What You’ll Find Here
At Vlog Watch, I aim to bring together:
- Curated Highlights — standout vlogs, new voices, under-noticed gems, and trends that deserve a wider audience.
- Creator Conversations — interviews, profiles, and insights from vloggers about their process, goals, inspirations, and struggles.
- Guides & Resources — tips, tools, gear recommendations, how-tos, and other materials to help new and experienced vloggers grow.
- Community & Discourse — reflections on what it means to vlog, ethical issues, cultural implications, and how vlogging is evolving.
A Bit About Me
I’ve been involved with creative, experimental media for a long time: with GAJOOB, Tapegerm Collective, Local Historical, among others. My interest spans music, DIY culture, digital media, and the intersections of art and community. Vlogging is a natural extension of those interests — an expression of storytelling in motion, immediacy, vulnerability.
If you want to know more: I care about authenticity, experimentation, giving voice to the overlooked, and remix-culture. My goal with Vlog Watch is to create something more than curation — I want it to be a hub, a catalyst, a mirror for creators and fans alike.
Where We’re Going
Vlog Watch is just beginning. In the months ahead, I plan to:
- expand the roster of creator profiles, especially focusing on vloggers from underrepresented communities
- build up deeper guides / tutorials for vloggers — from basic setup to advanced editing, and storytelling structure
- foster more interaction — guest posts, community submissions, comments, maybe even meetups or virtual workshops
- experiment with formats — video, podcast, maybe more multimedia content
Join the Journey
If you love vlogs, creators, and stories, you’re in the right place. Wherever you are — whether you’re watching, vlogging, learning, or creating — I hope Vlog Watch gives you something: inspiration, insight, or just a moment to think differently.
Thanks for being here.
